I loved making this quilt! Every time my mom comes to visit she always comments on a Scrappy Trip quilt that I made years ago. I had this quilt top put together and I just knew I had to finish it for my mom. All I needed to do was add borders, baste, quilt and bind. Easy peasy ... if you stay up until 0330 like I did!
I went with a fairly large meandering for the quilting.
The back is stash fabric and the binding ( which I love ) in red pearl bracelets.
My mom says she loves it and I hope she snuggles it every morning while she's drinking her coffee and making all the lists in her journal.
